Entry
Bridge
Surrounded on two sides by a moat without water, the Castle is accessed from the exterior across a brickwork bridge built in the 1600s to replace the original drawbridge. The entrance to the castle is watched over by a pair of superb stone lions holding a ball between their front paws.
Yard and Porch
An exquisite portico, supported by six columns in Sarnico stone and with a vault decorated with frescoes depicting vine leaves, stretches out behind the fine quadrangular courtyard. Lunettes bearing the coats of arms of the families which, upon marriage, became part of the Meli Lupi family can also be admired on the wall.
